Our TAM chip PREMIUM is distinguished by its programmable memory of 48 alphanumeric characters, offering complete customization according to your needs. Easily encode information specific to the animal (life traits, weight, size), your study, or your internal tracking system.

To use these programming capabilities, the ProgramStation reader (ref. A-1802-00025) must be used.
Available Sizes
Available in three sizes (S, M and L), the PREMIUM T.A.M. chip allows identification of animals of all sizes:
- TAM-S (1.25 x 7 mm): small and medium-sized animals such as rat, mouse, Xenopus.
- TAM-M (1.4 x 8 mm): medium-sized animals such as rabbit, rodent, dog.
- TAM-L (2.12 x 12 mm): large-sized animals such as pig.
To identify small subjects while respecting their welfare and ethical principles, it is recommended to use the TAM-S chip (1.25 × 7 mm), the smallest chip currently available. Successful identifications have been made on 11-day-old mouse pups.
Available in standard single packaging (1 chip in a complete injector per sterile pouch) or in packs of 25 (see photo).
