Bowman-style rodent restraint device. The Bowman restraint device has been redesigned and refined to accommodate larger animals weighing up to 750 grams.
The positions of the stainless steel rods around the rodent allow easy access for many types of research applications, including obesity studies.
The rodent can be quickly inserted into the restraint device by removing several upper stainless steel rods or through an access hole in the rear post.
The access port hole features a lockable polycarbonate door to prevent any leakage. The front "guillotine" style door can be adjusted and locked using one (1) of the three (3) adjustment positions. The door is equipped with a stainless steel spring lock.
The suction feet on the white plastic base secure the device during use.
