The induction chamber is used for the rapid anesthesia of animals before a surgical procedure or for conscious animals on which it is difficult to use a mask.
The anesthesia induction chamber helps researchers anesthetize animals instantly, in about 2 to 5 minutes. Thanks to the chamber's transparent materials, the animal can be observed in real time.
The anesthetic gas is introduced into the chamber and then evacuated through an outlet equipped with a flexible plastic tube leading to the included activated carbon cartridge.
Available in 4 sizes.
- Safety for the handler, watertightness ensured by a thick seal between the lid and the chamber
- Positive pressure of the lid and a thick seal eliminate gas leaks from the chamber
- Hinge ensuring the lid is held open: no risk of dropping or breaking
- Manufactured from 8 mm transparent plexiglass
- Visibility of the animal for easy monitoring
