The TAM-Sense Implantable Temperature Sensor developed by Intellibio is an innovative method for instant temperature measurement in animals.
It consists of a high-precision temperature sensor housed in a stainless steel needle attached to an injector, the entire assembly being sterilized and provided in a sterile pouch.
By injection, the TAM-Sense-S Intellibio Temperature Sensor is placed inside the animal and transmits the temperature to the reader at each reading.
Available in three sizes (S, M, and L), the temperature sensor TAM-Sense Intellibio allows temperature measurement in animals of all sizes, ranging from the smallest, such as rodents, to the largest, such as horses.
It offers remarkable accuracy of 0.1 °C.
Reliable in all circumstances thanks to a CRC that guarantees the accuracy of the data transmitted, it ensures measurements are always precise, without any risk of error.
With its wide operating range from -20 °C to +80 °C, it adapts both to animals in hibernation and to the most demanding environments.
The Intellibio temperature sensor, without an identification number, can be implanted on an animal already identified with a standard transponder. However, it is important to maintain a distance of at least 8 cm between these two implants.
For reading our TAM-Sense Intellibio Temperature sensor, two readers are offered:
- the Reader ISO SENSE with temperature reading and display on the device screen;
- the Reader READSTATION with reading and transfer of the recorded temperature to your work computer.
In a quality approach and for better waste recovery, the stainless steel injection trocar separates from the plastic injector.
