Non-toxic and free of any hazardous material, the Animal Marker uses specific dyes that meet quality standards and animal tests with advanced oral toxicity studies that are conducted. A single marker can be used to mark 400 to 600 rats (depending on the animal's size and/or application area). Once the color is applied, and depending on the animal's size and the identified area, no discoloration occurs during long-term tests. Generally, colors remain visible for 6 to 12 weeks.
Unlike permanent markers and drawing markers that may contain chemicals harmful to animals, Animal Marker uses "legal dyes," which are non-toxic and free of any hazardous material.
CAUTION: Colors may stain clothing. The use of gloves and lab coats is recommended.
