The NONATEC Tag (or transponder) is the smallest RFID tag available on the market. This new technology, based on the High Frequency 13.56 MHz, allows you to identify all small animals in a very secured and ever lasting way.
The NONATEC Tag contains the latest generation of Philips MFO IC U1 electronic chip. This rewritable chip can be read and written more than 10000 times:it’s the best way to identify and track the animal during its entire life, offering you a very powerful managing tool.
The NONATEC Tag is also a security tool. Its universal and unique identification code guarantees security and anti counterfeiting.

Individually and sterilized

The NONATEC tag is delivered in a very ergonomic syringe made for an easy and non traumatic injection into a small animal. The small needle diameter of 1.2mm is the perfect size to implant small animals without harm only a few days after birth. This small size allows you to track early and may also be an answer to ethical requirements. Indeed, the small size of the NONATEC avoids useless distress and pain which could also cause skewed results.

Each syringe hold a NONATEC tag ready for injection. It is packaged individually and sterilized. The NONATEC transponders which all have a unique identification number are delivered with 2 bar-codes stickers holding the same number. Therefore, it facilitates the traceability of the animal and also of its environment. The NONATEC tag is inert in the animal. Its biocompatible glass tube is a guarantee of safety, it is very resistant to chocks. The electronic identification with the NONATEC transponder is reliable and resistant during the entire life of the animal.

The NONATEC Bluetooth reader / writer device:
The NONATEC Bluetooth reader / writer device is based on the 13,56 MHz Frequency. Its patented technology qualified for all security criteria in medical environment. Moreover, that Frequency makes it possible to read and write with that same device on RFID plastic cards (512o). Those cards can thus be used to identify cages, people, rooms… It can also be used to control access to the database.

Communication with the computer is done with the Bluetooth Technology. We guarantee a 50 meters communication distance between the two devices.

The NONATEC Bluetooth reader / writer device is therefore not only an identification and traceability tool but also a security tool for your research work.
