ENVIRONNEMENT

2. Complete darkness, water (IR Track) with an infrared camera (precision instrumentand using a very sensitive IR detector).

The system automates most tests based on locomotive activity:

Cincinnati Water Maze.
E Water Maze.
Open Field in standard lighting, Radial mazes.
Black/White box.

Water mazes (Morris Water maze).
Place Preference.
Multiple T Maze.
Plus Elevated Maze.

Principle

The system includes a camera (standard or infrared, according to the desired use) and data acquisition and processing software. The software reports an animal's position at any given time and records its trajectory.

It also allows you to define an unlimited number of areas, of any shape, within the observed field and distinguish an animal's activity in each of those areas (time, distance covered, etc.). The device can simultaneously process data up to 16 independent cameras and monitor several animals.

Reprocessing of an experiment starting from vidéos sources.
Preset zone allowing the modeling of an ideal way; accounting of the errors of trajectory.
Regular backups and partial or complete data archiving with restoration of data to a hard disk or other digital support.
Adjustable data acquisition speed and processing parameters.
Speed of acquisition adjustable from 1 to 10 images a second.
